Lets start with the obvious question...

Why do you need to rename the awesome PLR product that you just purchased?

Answer:  To set yourself apart from the other product owners that just bought the same thing you did... While they are all selling the same PLR product with the same name, yours will look different and stick out like a shiny new penny.

Now... Don't let the fact that other people have the same product discourage you.  Most people who buy PLR products let them sit on their hard-drive and collect dust, never to be heard from again.

Change The Name While Keeping The Core Benefit Intact

When you start thinking of new names, your main goal should be to make it different while keeping the main core-benefit intact.

So, how do you come up with a new name without making the core benefit unrecognizable?

In most cases, it’s a simple matter of rearranging the words.

So if you have a PLR product, say, titled “List Building Profit Kit”, you could change it to something like:

  • “List Building Success Kit”
  • “List Building Masterclass”
  • “Surefire List Building”

Any one of these names would stand out over the original, instantly setting you apart from your competition and it's still made apparent that the course is about list building...    

Simple Trick To Using Synonyms To Your Advantage

The easiest way to come up with alternate words for your new product name is by using synonyms...  

Basically, you can use thesaurus.com to find different words that mean the same thing...

Honestly, this process is pretty simple and it doesn’t take a whole lot of work on your part.

Once you get a list of potential product names the next thing you want to do is check them in google to see what pops up.

You may have just thought a great name that's really catchy but little did you know that name is already using it for their product.

So head over to Google and type your product name inside quotes "product name here" and see if its something you still want to run with.

This may seem like a ton of extra work but really ...what have you got to lose?

Unless of course you're NOT interested in making more sales and adding more customers to your list.
